Project description

Education is crucial to effect changes and foster economic development in rural and poor area. This will build capacity of them rather than increasing their dependence. BCF highlights it conviction of Teaching a man fish rather than giving him one and devotes its efforts to alleviate poverty by education and provide support to education in poor area and to vulnerable groups.
The project activities include the development of Yan An BCF Education Management Center, payment of tuitions for children from poor households, sending orphans' back to school, and education program in poor areas. The financial support includes funding of tuitions, allowance, school operation expenses and research related to education. Meanwhile, BCF is implementing a series of sustainable schooling assistance activities.
