Specific goals

• Build college students' capacity to participate in the activities in public interests and develop training handbooks for their groups
• Develop the operation models for college students public benefits activities, in particular, the operation models for them to get involved in rural education and vulnerable group education in urban area.
• Provide effective voluntary services to schools and agencies serving vulnerable groups at grassroots level and develop draft of training handbook for children's capacity building as a vulnerable group

1 ¡¢ fund trainers, support capacity building of college student groups to improve their project management, develop training handbooks £»
2 ¡¢ establish foundation for college students' public benefits activities and provide support to them to carry out activities related to children £»
3 ¡¢ support college students groups to design training courses which are targeting to their issues through summer and winter camps.

• 2006,1 £º support Guizhou University , Guizhou Ethnic Minority University and other universities to deliver training and carry out survey in rural area
• 2006,4 £º support Mr.Liu Enhe to deliver seminars in universities in Beijing
• 2006,5 £º Support student groups from Renmin University to carry out survey and deliver training in rural area
• 2006,7 £º support 9 volunteer groups from Renmin University, Central Finance and Economics University, Central Ethnic Minority University, Nanjing Xiaozhuang Normal College and Hebei University to conduct survey and deliver training in Gansu, Jiangxi, Jilin and Guizhou.

Project implementation plan for 2007 |
|
• Capacity building: support student groups or NGOs to carry out capacity building programs in Sichuan, Shaanxi, Gansu, Yunnan and Guizhou;
• Support the college students to deliver training in rural area: support the college student groups to deliver training in rural areas in Beijing, Sichuan, Shaanxi and Gansu.
• Support college students to deliver training in schools for migrant workers' children: support college student volunteers to deliver training and other services in schools for migrant workers' children in the cities.
• College students forum for public benefits activities: to reinforce the communication among their groups and build their capacity. |
